The place is beautiful, and the garden as well. We chose audio-guides, instead of an actual guide, because some of us didn't speak english.
It's $20 per person... which is the price of every plantation.
Some of the furniture has been replaced, which is understandable , but we could not visit some rooms. Apparently they open them only sometimes and you can see them if you're lucky. This was not the best surprise.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere is delivered on a consistent basis by a knowledgeable, friendly staff. I have always been amazed by access allowed to patrons, especially on guided and non-guided tours. The location is well within reasonable driving distance from the Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette areas. With a minimal amount of Internet effort, potential patrons will find valuable discounts for tours and overnight accommodations. Nottoway Plantation is truly in a class of its own.February 07, 2017
